Fingernail Hygiene Policy

Policy: It is the policy of Clover Health Services to adhere to standards to promote natural fingernails and hand hygiene.

As indicated in Facility requirements, nurses are not allowed to wear acrylic or artificial fingernails while providing patient care and must keep their fingernails well groomed and at a length of no more than ΒΌ of an inch. Staff found in violation of this policy with the facility regulations for fingernail hygiene may have assignment suspended, cancelled, or terminated.

I understand the importance of proper fingernail hygiene and will abide by the policy while on assignment with Clover Health Services at the Facility named below.
